Small fan, big power.
I was very skeptical when searching for a brand new fan to replace my old one that died out on me on the hottest days in California. I frantically searched for a new fan, buying a new one at Walmart only to be disappointed by its power. However, I saw the dreo fan and was very intrigued. I sleep with a fan every night and I thought to myself, if I’m gonna spend the money might as well go for something good. I waited a week or more for it to arrive due to the fact that this fan was barely entering the market and wow. This fan looked really small to me, compared to my older fan which was an 18″ lasko fan and was worried about its power and whether it would be enough.Sure enough it is, the turbo mode is very powerful for a small bedroom And the oscillating feature that goes up and down and left to right all together is a plus, however I do wish you could adjust the speed at which it oscillates but most fans don’t have that feature. The fan is made from a glittery gray plastic and the textured leather like plastic makes it stand out more.On the side of noise I wouldn’t buy this fan if you wanted absolutely no noise but noise is a plus to me, I love sleeping to the sound of fan noises which most DC motor fans claim to not make which is weird to me because I love fan noise. As per adjusting the fans speeds there’s 1-8 gears before you go into turbo which is an entirely different speed itself. I mainly stick to speed 6 and above because I like a strong breeze in my face, however that makes me have bloody noses in the morning which luckily dreo also makes humidifiers so I ordered one. I will review that soon. The fan can read the temperature of the room and adjust speeds based on that, you can also customize the speeds it changes to based on temperature yourself which the layout is kinda confusing and I think it could be refined a bit more in my opinion but the standard version works fine for me.As for being a wifi fan, sometimes it will drop out which for some may seem disappointing but it will come back up quickly. I love that it works with my Google assistant so I can tell Google to turn on the fan on my commute home from work. As well as telling Google to shut off the fan and hour before I need to wake up to work so I can get out of bed easier as it won’t be too cold.In the end, I really loved this fan and I hope it lasts a long while with me considering how much I paid for it. Power saving is a plus but the plug does get hot so be aware of where you plug it in! In my opinion dreo makes good products and if you register your warranty it will be extended to 4 years! I hope I never have to use it but it does keep me calm knowing dreo will help me if anything does happen with my fan.

The best pedestal fan I ever owned.
Don’t be fooled by the small size because this thing puts off some great airflow. Easy to setup, just screw in the base with the included screw, washer and screwdriver and done. Then just install the Dreo companion app and create an account. As long as you’re on the same network it should pick it up right away. You can control all functions from there. It has vertical and virtual control with adjustable angles to direct the airflow. You can also control your direction and angles by a directional pad in the app. It also has multiple modes normal, turbo, auto, and natural. Auto will automatically adjust the fan based on the temperature, the fan has a built in temperature sensor. The more interesting mode is natural. This mode will rev the fan up and down like rolling winds on a fall windy day. It also has built in alexa support which I also found easy to setup. Just install the Dreo skill in the alexa app and link the accounts. The alexa app found the fan fine. Voice commands to alexa work great. There’s an included remote and/or the touch sensitive controls on the fan for those not tech savy for the phone or alexa but you don’t get as much control. Also I call this a fan but in the apps it’s called “Air Circulator” but I renamed it fan. The fan is very quiet at lower speeds so I usually sleep with it at 5 to 8 which is the highest setting. I recommend this fan a hundred times over for now. I will have to see longevity because I use a fan all year round because it helps me sleep.

Perfect bedroom fan.
I’ve had it about 10 months. I always sleep with a fan on year round. Still works great. I use my iPad when going to bed so I always have easy access to the Dreo app. The Dreo app is phone-sized only, but it functions flawlessly. I like that I can use the app to adjust angle to the left/right and up/down without having to get out of bed. I also have it paired with a Google Nest Hub that I use an alarm clock. The only voice commands I use are to turn the fan on and off and change fan speed, but it works very reliably. (By contrast I had a Wiz smart lightbulb that frequently lost its connection when trying to use it with the Google Home and Nest Hub.) Recently I’ve set up a ‘Good morning’ routine on the Nest Hub where after my wake up alarm is dismissed the Nest Hub automatically tells the Dreo fan to turn itself off. It (so far) always works and I suspect that some of that success is probably due to good smart device programming by the folks who make the Dreo. And just in general I like the pedestal style of this fan, and so I hope Dreo keeps making this product as I much prefer an pedistal fan over a tower. That and the display turning off after a minute or so is great because I use this at night in my bedroom. So I’m quite happy with my purchase. The only nitpicks I have are that the color of the plastic I didn’t think it looked as good in real life as it did on my iPad. At least that’s how I felt when I first got it. Now I think the color looks fine. My other nitpick is that I wasn’t too thrilled about the power cord sticking straight out a couple feet up the pedistal. I worry it might get bumped and become damaged, but so far it has thankfully held up.

Nice fan
Great power, i have to admit when I took it out of the box i was a bit apprehensive at to weather it would be powerful enough or not the fan is pretty small in circumference, once i assembled it and plugged it into i was pleased it BLASTS the air. It integrates with Alexa, so we can control it via voice commands . It does have a little remote control. The app for your smartphone is feature rich and easy to use to set up schedules and such. The fan osculates side to side and um and down which I thought was pretty cool. You can even control the osculation widths. I want to purchase another one excellent purchase! Great smart fan! I would recommend this to family, friends and to you!

Superior fan: Better than others
Came well packaged: packed in its in own box in a larger box with paper for a cushion. It was easy to set up. Basically one screw under the base. So many attributes: solid materials, attractive appearance, modern design, unique fan that rotates up, a remote. Versatile – 8 fan speeds, adjustable height, Quiet. I highly recommend.

Somewhat expected, but also surprising!
I got two fans to compare for my bedroom. I expected to send one back. This one out of the box felt a little cheap. Everything is well finished and fairly tight, just that the plastics used are thin feeling. Think, higher end lasko tower fan. Assembly was simple and setup was straight forward.Warning, SMART FEATURES ONLY RUN ON A 2.4ghz network! If you have your home set up to run 5g then you’re out of luck, you need to have a 2.4 running on the side at least. I use my 2.4 as a separate network for smart home things so it worked out.It was quite nice looking out of the box. The remote is the nicest I’ve seen on a fan. What really surprised me was how insanely quiet it was. 1-3 is darn near silent. 4-6 is pleasant, 7 and 8 are “loud” but still very quiet. It moves a fantastic amount of air! I wasn’t sure since it was a smaller fan, but it’s absolutely capable. I’m very impressed with the airflow. The airflow and the smart features sealed the deal for me. I’m able to control it with my Alexa and have it set up to automatically work in conjunction with lights and a noise machine for sleep at the same time. I’m not a smart home person, but these things have been awesome. My two gripes are the materials could be thicker and that the warranty is abysmal. Vornado has a 10 year warranty. This has only one year. Aside from that, I’m actually really happy to have this fan.

Works on 5 ghz Wifi
This fan is the best fan I have ever owned. Ive already owned one for about a year now and that one still works like its new.So easy to set up with the app and works on my 5 ghz Wifi. I tried to buy one of the Dreo table top ones but for some odd reason they only work on 2.5 ghz Wifi. But not this pedestal fan. This fan they did right and seeing as though I already owned one I gave up on trying the other models and just bought a second one instead. Glad I did.I have to tell you when you put this thing in Turbo mode, wow does it blow. On normal settings it blows very well and very quiet. On low you would never know this thing was even on if it wasn’t for the breeze and actually seeing it move. It’s a great fan and having the ability to use it with the app or commanding it with Alexa means I wont have to worry about losing a remote. Also the remote works on both fans.Great fan and I highly recommend it.

Buy it NOW!! Stunning fan!
I was hesitant because it’s a little more than I wanted to spend but WOW! This fan arrived super fast (2 days), well packaged (not messy), easy instructions and super easy to use app, only 1 screw at the bottom to connect to the base and all tools came with it (just need one). I am blown away by this fan! Not only does it go side and side and ranges in degrees (no more wasted energy for wide passes when you just want it in front of you), it works with home assistants (Alexa and Google) beautifully, easy remote, easy controls. This feels like a Cadillac of fans and I am not disappointed at all! So smooth and so quiet. I had the cheaper tower fan from the same company and I’m so glad I returned it for this. Buy it now and you won’t regret it. It’s sleek and stylish too, not an obnoxious or basic fan, but would go with a contemporary designed house. I can’t rave about it more!! If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

Motor Noisy, not dead silent, but STILL EXCELLENT fan for what most probably want out of it.
!!!!Warning to anyone who hates fans w/ slight DC motor noises.!!!! I had 2 of these fans and both exhibit the same whirring sound at low RPMS. If you’re sensitive to this then this fan is probably not for you. It works really well for what it does. Most of the time you wont notice it unless the room is dead silent.Pros:+The fan works really well. Oscillated back and forth, or up and down and control is pretty seemless.+Pushes a lot of air for the size+Pushes air a great distance for the size.Cons:- For those who are sensitive to motor noise beware that this thing has it. Its not the worst it could be but it is there. Tolerable for me in a relatively noisy office environment but annoying dead silent otherwise and i would choose another brand if i could do that.- Rotation can’t be set bi directionally so you do have to wait for the rotation to sweep by before you stop it.- Wont push as much air as a model w/ a larger fan diameterIn general i would recommend this fan for anyone who needs generic cooling but not for sleeping unless you dont mind a noisy motor. Minus the motor noise this is still one of the quietest fans out there.
